Myriah Hansen, MA, LPCC, ATR-P

As a dedicated mental health therapist, I specialize in providing faith-based counseling that integrates psychological techniques with Christian principles. My approach respects the profound connection between faith, cultural identity, and emotional well-being, offering clients a safe space to explore their spiritual journey while addressing mental health challenges. I aim to holistically integrate the mind, body, and spirit, recognizing that true healing often lies in the intersection of emotional health and spiritual growth. I have worked with clients of all ages but specialize in working with Adolescents struggling with depression, anxiety, and suicidal ideation.

In addition to faith-based therapy, I have extensive experience in art therapy, using creative expression as a powerful tool to help clients explore emotions and achieve healing. My academic background includes a bachelor’s degree with a Bible minor from North Central University and a master’s degree in art therapy from Adler Graduate School.Whether through discussing scripture, engaging in therapeutic art, or co-experiencing God’s presence in prayer, I am passionate about helping individuals navigate their mental and emotional challenges with compassion and faith at the center of the process.
